BOTB-Battle of the Belt

The official 2008-09 BOTB campaign began for BHS on Tuesday morning with a "surprise" seatbelt check. Students at BHS will have the opportunity on 10-09 to ride the "Convincer" provided by the Missouri Highway Patrol. The convincer simulates a car crash at approximately 35 mph. Throughout the six week campaign students will be given information regarding the importance of seatbelts in saving lives. Students will be asked to sign a pledge card saying they will always buckle up when riding in or driving a motor vehicle.
